Bridget Otoo Finally Speaks After NPP Allegedly Orchestrated Her Sack From Metro TV Barely 24hrs After She Starting Working There

We shared a viral content about Bridget Otoo getting sacked at Metro TV barely 24hrs after she started working with them, having been jobless for some time now after she quit TV3.

As authored by Albert Journalist of Ghbase, Bridget Otoo was unveiled on August 2 as a new member of Metro TV and was to host the station’s flagship news bulletin program “News Night” between 7 pm and 8 pm.

However, Bridget Otoo failed to appear on the set to host the news the following day, August 3. This gave many people reasons to believe or feel that Bridget Otoo was on the way to being axed from the station just barely a few hours after she joined them.

The allegation was fueled by some members of the NDC on social media. One Annan Perry Arhin, a member of NDC’s Communications team has posted that President Akufo-Addo, acting as government, has directed Metro TV to sack Bridget Otoo.

According to him, the government wants her out of Metro TV because she supports John Mahama and bashes the Akufo-Addo-led administration, allegedly.

He wrote: Are you wondering why Bridget Otoo didn’t show up on #NewsNight at 7 pm, Akufo Addo/Bawumia/Npp government have instructed the owners of metro tv to sack her with immediate effect because she bashes them and is a supporter of John Mahama.
