C.K Akonnor Heaps Praise On ‘Fantastic’ Mohammed Kudus After Morocco Friendly

Black Stars coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor is full of praise for midfielder Mohammed Kudus after an outstanding display in the international friendly against Morocco on Tuesday night.

The Ajax midfielder was Ghana’s best player on the night despite defeat to the Atlas Lions.

C.K Akonnor is disappointed with the defeat but praised Kudus for the ‘magic’ he adds to the team.

“He is a good player, fantastic. He can produce magic at every given time,’ said C.K Akonnor after the game.

“Our Captain (Andre Ayew), and his brother (Jordan Ayew). We played with some team spirit and understanding and that is what excites me,” he added.

“I am very happy about the way we played; of course I am not happy that we lost so we need to look forward to how to improve in that area and that is my thinking now.”

The Black Stars are expected in Ghana on Wednesday and will start preparing for their next game against Ivory Coast on Thursday.
