Catherine Elizabeth Deeley, an English television host and performer, kicked off her career by co-presenting the ITV children’s program SMTV Live, earning recognition with a BAFTA Children’s Award. She also helmed its spin-off music show CD:UK from 1998 to 2005.
In 2003, Deeley took on co-hosting duties for the talent contest Fame Academy on BBC One and later became the face of the ITV talent showcase Stars in Their Eyes.
After the conclusion of Stars in Their Eyes in 2006, Deeley ventured to the United States to host the reality competition So You Think You Can Dance, a role that earned her five Primetime Emmy nominations.
In 2024, it was revealed that Deeley, alongside Ben Shephard, would take over as hosts of This Morning, succeeding Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, presenting the show Monday through Thursday.
