‘CK Akunnor Was A Good Coach But He Was Not Respected’ – Countryman Songo (Video)

Countryman Songo has elaborated on why C.K Akunnor could not succeed as the Ghana national team coach, as he posited that the former Black Stars coach is good.

Patrick Osei Agyemang, well known as Countryman Songo made this bold claim when he appeared on the Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, hosted by Paul Adom-Otchere.

While speaking about the performance of the Black Stars at the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Paul asked him if C.K Akunnor was good, and he answered in the affirmative, stating that C.K was good.

The sports journalist however said, he could not do his job because of lack of respect, adding that had he been respected, he would have performed marvellously well for Ghana.

Songo also applauded Andre Dede Ayew for his attitude anytime he puts on the Black Stars shirt, stating that if all the other players in the team had the same fearless character as the Black Stars captain, the team would have been one of the best in the world.
