Eamonn Holmes Thanks His Angels Of The NHS After He Was Rushed To The Hospital

English broadcaster, Eamonn Holmes is thanking the NHS, especially the health workers who worked tirelessly to save his life.

The 62-year-old was rushed to the hospital in the back of an ambulance after waking up in excruciating pain in the night. Eamonn Holmes would then leave his job of hosting the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on GB News. He also missed the open-top bus during the Platinum Pageant outside of Buckingham Palace with his wife.

Though the broadcaster did not pinpoint the cause of his visit to the hospital he revealed that he was in extreme pain. He however revealed to Express.co.uk that he was taken to Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital Spinal Injuries unit after waking up in the night with very extreme pain.

Eamonn revealed that he first thought the workers were taking care of him for money, but later realized they just had a passion for their jobs.

“As the days passed it was clear none of them, not a single one, were doing it for the money… But right now my heart belongs to the NHS – and the Angels who got me back on my feet again. Thank you.”
