Crystal Palace upset 10-man Manchester City to ruin Pep Guardiola’s 200th Premier League match as manager at Etihad Stadium.
Crystal Palace were ahead in just 6 minutes when Wilfried Zaha took advantage of Aymeric Laporte’s flimsy ball as he exchanged passes with Conor Gallagher before scuffing beyond Ederson’s diving.
Laporte’s problems got worse at the half-time whistle, when Laporte was dismissed by the referee Andre Marriner after making it impossible for Zaha to score by knocking down his Palace forward.
Gabriel Jesus saw a second-half equalizer ruled out from the assistant video referee, who had ruled offside in the face of Phil Foden. Gallagher secured a well-deserved win for the visitors with an excellent finish off the post late.
