The French Ligue 1 has celebrated Ghana’s Memorial Day with players plying their trade in France.
The Ligue 1 Uber Eats posted an artwork of the four Ghanaian players in the league to commemorate the day.

Alexander Djiku, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Osman Bukari and Gideon Mensah are the Ghanaian quartet in the French League.
The Kwame Nkrumah memorial day is celebrated every September 21 to pay homage to Ghana’s first president.
Kwame Nkrumah led the country to independence on March 6, 1957.
During his time, the Black Stars won two Africa Cup of Nations titles.
