GFA To Name Ibrahim Tanko, Otto Addo, or Kwesi Appiah As Interim Black Stars Coach

After the Ghana Football Association sacked Milovan Rajevac, they are considering naming Ibrahim Tanko, Otto Addo or Kwesi Appiah as interim coach of the Black Stars.

Milovan was sacked after his poor performance at the 2021 African cup of nations in Cameroon, exiting from the group stage with just a point from three games.

The West African powerhouse lost their opening game by 1-0 to Morocco, draw 1-1 to Gabon, and lost 3-2 to Comoros.

This is the Comoros first time qualifying to the AFCON, and they lost their 2 group games against Morocco and Gabon without scoring a goal, but ended up disgracing Ghana 3-2 in the last match.

And this was the first time the four times African champions have crashed out of an AFCON without a single win, and the first time they’ve exited at the group stage since 2006.

With this disgraced and bad record, the Ghana FA has sacked Milovan, and they are considering naming Ibrahim Tanko, Otto Addo or Kwesi Appiah as interim coach, but Tanko has been tipped for the job.
