Ghana Coach Milovan Rajevac Submits Provisional AFCON Squad To GFA

Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac has submitted his team’s preliminary squad to Ghana Football Association ahead of the team’s training camp in Dubai in the coming month.

The squad, as per close sources, includes Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu and AS Roma prodigy Felix Afena-Gyan.

They will officially name the team when they depart Ghana to Qatar to begin pre-AFCON training.

The Black Stars will play Algeria as well as two other friendly games before traveling to Cameroon to play in January.

Ghana is included in Group C along with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros Island.

The West African powerhouse are chasing their 5th AFCON trophy, after winning the tournament last was way back in 1982.

Milovan Rajevac will also announce his final squad before the team will move to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on January 9 and will end on February 6, 2022.
