Ghana Forward Caleb Ekuban Agrees Personal Terms With Genoa; Set To Sign 3-Year Deal

Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban will be joining Italian side Genoa in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Serie A outfit and will join the club in the coming days.

We can authoritatively report that Genoa are set to pay Trabzonspor 2.2 million Euros for the services of the Ghanaian forward.

Ekuban handed the Turkish Super Lig side a transfer request last week, and it is now certain the player is leaving for Italy.

Caleb Ekuban has been in phenomenal form for the club, recording double figures in terms of goals for the club last season.

Having joined Trabzonspor from English side Leeds, the 27-year-old has made 103 appearances for the club, scoring 29 league goals and providing 18 assists.

The Italy-born has been an integral member of the Black Stars team since earning his maiden call up under former coach Kwesi Appiah.

He was a member of the Ghana team that were eliminated in the round of 16 at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 by Tunisia.
