Ghana Midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh Undergoes Successful Surgery After Rupturing Anterior Cruciate Ligament

Black Stars forward, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has undergone successful surgery to correct his anterior cruciate ligament rupture.

The attacker had earlier in the year suffered a nasty injury during training.

SC Freiburg his club stated on 10 February that he had torn his cruciate ligament in training and will be out for the rest of the season.

In Thursday’s training, Kofi Kyereh twisted his knee in a duel. An examination at the Freiburg University Hospital resulted in the diagnosis of a cruciate ligament rupture. An operation is to follow in the next few days. The attacking player will no longer be available this season, the club’s statement further stated.

They wished Daniel-Kofi a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

After over a week of preparations and arrangements, the player has today had a successful surgery, and will be hoping to come back, fitter.

Unfortunately, for the player, he will miss the remainder of the 2022/23 football season.
