Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban chalked a monumental feat when he scored to rescue a point against Goztepe on his 100th match for Trabzonspor on Wednesday.
Ekuban joined the Black Sea Stormers initially on loan from English side Leeds United in 2019/20 season.
The 27-year-old’s impressive performance promoted Trabzonspor to sign him on a permanent deal.
On Wednesday, the Ghana international clocked his 100th game for Abdullah Avci’s side with a goal as Trabzonspor rallied to hold Goztepe in the 38th week of the Turkish Supalig.
Goztepe had opened the scoring through veteran Macedonian forward Adis Jahovic on the stroke of half time.
The former Chievo Verona striker has scored 28 goals and 17 assists in 100 matches with the burgundy-blue team.
He could have contributed more but for injuries and Covid-19 issues.
Ekuban has missed a total of 28 matches due to his injury and illnesses.
