Ghana Winger Fatawu Issahaku In Action As Sporting Lisbon Lose Portuguese Cup Title To FC Porto

Black Stars winger, Fatawu Issahaku featured in Sporting Lisbon’s Portuguese Cup final defeat to FC Porto.

Fatawu Issahku was introduced into the match in the 56th minute, coming on for Nuno Santos.

FC Porto took lead on the day through Canadian forward Stephen Eustaquio 13 minutes into the match and went into the halftime break with a goal advantage.

After the recess, Sporting Lisbon became a man short when Paulinho was given the match orders for a second yellow card offense with 18 minutes left to play.

Porto put the victory beyond doubt in the 86th minute through Ivan Marcano’s goal to lift the Portuguese Cup at Leiria.
