Mohammed Kudus Named ‘King of the Match’ After Helping Ajax To Beat Excelsior

Ghana forward, Mohammed Kudus was adjudged the best player on Sunday afternoon when Ajax beat Excelsior 4-1 in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The mercurial Black Stars forward began the match for Ajax leading the line and playing the full duration of the match.
Mohammed Kudus scored in the 61st minute to give his side a two-goal cushion in the matchday 19 encounter of the 2022/23 Dutch Eredivisie season.

Dusan Tadic and Davy Klaassen had earlier in the game scored to give Ajax a 2-1 lead before Kudus scored to extend the lead.

Devyne Rebsch would then put the match beyond Excelsior with the fourth goal for Ajax.
Reduane El Yaakoubi scored a consolation goal for Excelsior but it was not enough to save the team from defeat.
