The Ministry of Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif has felicitated the Black Stars after securing a spot for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers play-offs.
Ghana beat South Africa by a lone goal, thanks to Andre Ayew’s spot-kick for a place in the play-offs.
The Black Stars qualified ahead of Bafana Bafana based on goals scored between the two sides, despite having being on the same points.
The minister of Youth and Sports who was in attendance to cheer on the Black Stars, congratulated the team following the win.
“Congratulations to the senior national team, the Black Stars for making the nation proud by qualifying to the playoffs of the FIFA 2022 World cup qualifiers.
We Express appreciation to all Ghanaians for throwing their unflinching support behind the team and showcasing the spirit of nationalism.

The World Cup play-offs comes off in March of next year, with Ghana taking on one of the best teams to have qualified from the qualifiers.
