Green Day Star Billie Joe Armstrong Renounces His Citizenship Over Roe Vs Wade ruling

Following the Supreme Court’s decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong declared he was “renouncing his citizenship.”

This week, it was revealed that the American Supreme Court had chosen to reverse the Roe vs Wade ruling from fifty years prior, ending the guarantee of abortion rights.

Viola Davis, Billie Eilish, Michelle Obama, and Lizzo are just a few of the famous people and public figures that have expressed their shock at the decision.

Armstrong yelled “F*** America” and announced to the crowd that he was moving to the UK during his show on Friday in London.

“F**k America. I’m f***ing renouncing my citizenship. I’m f**king coming here,’ Armstrong told the audience at his gig. There’s just too much f***ing stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f***ing excuse for a country. Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.”
