Accra Hearts of Oak has taken a swipe at their arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko by posting a savage video of their paraphernalia being turned into a mop.
With the Phobians set to unveil their new kit for the upcoming season later today, the club couldn’t help but take a jab at Kotoko.
On Thursday, the Hearts Twitter account posted a short video online, which has since gone viral.
A red cloth is sliced up by a disembodied hand and attached to the end of a pole for a makeshift mop in the clip.
The video was captioned, “Properly crafted, very clean, we are ready!”
The fact that this was clearly a not-so-subtle dig at Asante Kotoko was quickly picked up on by their fans and opponents’ supporters who reacted on Twitter.

Fans of the Phobians got their first look at the new home and away kits at the official launch on Thursday at Accra’s World Trade Center.
Following the overwhelmingly positive response to their previous title-winning season’s jersey designs, Hearts knew they would have to outdo themselves ahead of the new season as they defend their Premier League and FA Cup crowns.
