How Much Do Big Brother Canada Contestants Get Paid? Big Brother Canada is a Canadian television reality game show and part of the global Big Brother franchise.

The first show premiered on February 27, 2013, and originally was telecast on Slice. Following the second season, the show was moved to Global. The show is produced by Endemol along with Insight Productions. Arisa Cox was hired as host of the show.

The show follows a group of contestants, known as “HouseGuests” who live in a home that was built specifically for them with constant video surveillance.

The HouseGuests do not have any contact with outside the world while in the house, and are not granted access to modern amenities like the internet or phones. Every week, HouseGuests take part in contests for the power and security before deciding to vote each other out of the house.

How Much Do Big Brother Canada Contestants Get Paid?

The last HouseGuest remaining wins a grand prize of CA$100,000, as well as additional prizes from the show sponsors. A weekly stipend will be provided for each participant for each week that he or she remains in the Big Brother Canada House.
