Annor Walker, head coach of the Black Galaxies of Ghana has said he is impressed with the output of his players during training ahead of their quarterfinal match against Niger on tomorrow.
The Black Galaxies were camped in Constantine where they played their group matches but have now moved camp per the schedules of CAF to Oran where they will play Niger who is a group winner.
Ghana placed second behind debutants Madagascar with six points. Madagascar will play Mozambique in one of the four quarterfinal games, which will be held in Constantine.
Before Saturday’s game with Niger, the Black Galaxies will have a training session in Oran on Friday evening, the session will be overseen by Annor Walker and his deputies.
Coach Annor Walker told the media that he has been very excited even before the match against Sudan. He said his team trained in the rain before the match against Sudan which has helped them.
He said that his players are in shape and fit, so they only need drills that will make them sweat. He added that in spite of the team having to move camp to Oran from Constantine, he is delighted with the attitude of his men to training.
