A man has been nabbed for allegedly defiling his own daughter in Ogun State.
The man is a 49-year-old man identified as Ubong Williams Akpan and his daughter that he defiled is just 12-years-old.
Confirming this is the spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who that the suspect was arrested on April 2, after a report was made at Itele Ota divisional headquarters by the victim.
According to the police, the girl had reported at the police station that her father had been abusing her sexually since when she was seven years.
She also indicated that this has been going on for the past five years. According to her, she can’t bear it now has decided to complain to the police.
The spokesperson said;
“On interrogation, he confessed to the commission of the crime, claiming that his wife is appearing too old, and she is no longer looking attractive to him.”
