English journalist, podcast host and charity campaigner, Dame Deborah James, has revealed how frustrated her illness has made her.
According to the journalist, she is currently facing emotional struggles and constantly shouts at people for the least provocation.
She added that she is angry about how the cruel disease is gradually ending her life, even though she does not want to die.
“I keep shouting at people and pushing them away. I’m angry at what’s happening to me. I don’t want to die”, she said in an interview with The Sun.
Dame Deborah James has been battling bowel cancer for the past five years, under hospice care for about a month in her parent’s house.
The renowned journalist and campaigner revealed that she only wants to see family and not friends in her last days, hence her decision to move out of her home where her husband and children are.
