vice-captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Thomas Partey has expressed his delight at being a part of the current Arsenal side.
The London-based club has been in blistering form in the ongoing English Premier League, sitting atop the league log with 66 points from matches played so far.
Thomas Partey was one of the standout players in his team’s recent 3-0 win over Fulham on Sunday.
After a returned from an injury, the former Athletico Madrid midfield played the entire duration of the match which was more like a stroll in the park for the Gunner.
He said in a post-match interview that he feels great to be part of the team.
Partey said he feels really great to be part of this team with all these players and the qualities they have and he thinks they have earned the right to play the way they do.
He added that they started the game very well and were able to score first and also keep going and in the end when you work harder you will get what you want and they were able to achieve that.
Thomas Partey has been called for national team duties for the 2023 AFCON qualifier matches against Angola.
