I Felt Sorry For Jordan Ayew During Morocco Game; He Was Left To Deal With 4 Defenders – Fiifi Banson

Renowned broadcaster Fiifi Banson has bemoaned the poor play of Ghana’s wingers on Monday evening during the game against Morocco.

Nicknamed the Black Stars, the national team of the West African country yesterday locked horns with the Atlas Lions in the opening Group C encounter of the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Although Jordan Ayew was the main striker, he was bullied most of the time and had to most often drift to the flanks or into the midfield.

Reviewing the match with GTV Sports Plus, Fiifi Banson said he felt sorry for the Black Stars striker when he was watching the match.

He said, “I felt sorry for Jordan Ayew, because how Ghana was set up tactically made him to be playing against four defenders, meanwhile our laterals were nowhere to be found when Ghana was attacking.”

Fiifi Banson just like the majority of Ghanaians is confident the Black Stars would win their next match at the 2021 AFCON.
