Famous Mzansi rapper, Cassper Nyovest has taken to social media to mourn the passing of his late grandmother.
The rapper revealed in a Twitter post today, January 16, 2023, that his grandmother from his paternal side had passed on.
The ‘baby girl’ hitmaker thanked his granny for all the lessons she taught him to make him a better person in life.
“Gained another Guardian Angel last night. My Grandmother from my dad’s side Naledi “Star” Phoolo crossed over. Thank you for everything nkgono. May your lessons stay with us so we can live a long beautiful life like you did. May your soul rest in peace. 🕊️,” he tweeted.
A few months ago, Cassper Nyovest revealed that he doesn’t need a hit song to survive in the music industry or in life as he has already made enough money and a name for himself.
“I’ve been competing commercially for 10 years and we’ve had a lot of commercial success, the level many artists will never see. I don’t need to make a song to survive anymore, it feels so good.”
He also thanked his fans for their undying support towards his success adding that he couldn’t have achieved what he has without their support.
