Ghanaian singer, Vera Hamenoo Kpeda, more popularly called MzVee, claims she has proven her critics wrong in the wake of reports that claimed she wouldn’t succeed after she left Lynx Entertainment.
After 8 years of work in tandem, the Ghanaian Afro-pop musician, on the 11th of September 2019, officially announced her departure with Lynx Entertainment.
After her departure from Lynx and her reintroduction to the music industry, many people, such as Blogger George Britton, felt MzVee’s return was not as strong after she broke up with her previous record label Lynx Entertainment however, she strongly disapproved.
Mzvee spoke to Amansan Krakye in a recent interview and said that her success after leaving Lynx Entertainment has proven her critics and doubters wrong.
“Oh, I’ve absolutely proven my detractors wrong, I mean, people have to learn to be patient.”
“I left Lynx and you want me to do what in a year, so everything is a slow process and I’m a really patient person.”
“I knew this day would come and people would realize how much work I put into my art, so I wasn’t scared at all at first,” she explained on Kastle FM.
MzVee’s re-entry into the music industry, according to media personality and artiste manager George Britton, was poor, which is why Ghanaians aren’t receiving more of her.
“When I heard those harsh remarks, I wasn’t scared since there were a lot of positive ones, so I concentrated on that and kept doing what I had to do,” she said.
