Kwame Sefa Kayi has revealed the reason why he quit acting for radio work.
According to the ace broadcast journalist, he quit acting for radio work because he wasn’t paid well at the time he was into acting.
Speaking on Peace FM with Akwasi Aboagye on the “Entertainment Review Show,” Kwami Sefa Kayi, also known as Chairman General, noted that the radio work has changed his life completely and made him a better person by broadening his horizon, unlike the acting.
”I stopped acting because radio gave me a better platform, and made me more money and also gave me more recognition. When I started the radio work, I saw improvement in my life. I could create a large network. I made good income. I saw a sense of direction in my life”.
The ‘Kokrokoo’ show host stressed that as an actor at the time, he saw no future, adding that acting doesn’t pay in Ghana.
