Famous South African singer and songwriter, Khaya Mthethwa has revealed that his life becomes a struggle after his two-year marriage to Miss SA Ntando Kunene came to a drastic end.
The singer made the revelation on the Wisdom & Wellness show. According to him, he had not experienced anything as difficult as his life became after the divorce.
“I really struggled, I’m not going to lie. That has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through and I never want to go through it again … I cannot believe I came out of that hole,” he revealed.
He added that his life took a turn after the divorce which coincidentally came at the time of the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“And when I went through it, it was during the period of lockdown. We broke up, then we went into lockdown. I was alone in my house for eight months … Thank God I didn’t have to go to church because I would have collapsed,” he added.
