Zimbabwe coach Norman Mapeza has sent a warning to South Africa ahead of their final Group G game against Ghana in Cape Coast.
In the words of the Warriors coach, conditions at Cape Coast are unfriendly, and South Africa will need to locate a suitable place to train prior to the game.
The Bafana Bafana face Ghana in a game that is a must-win, which will determine the winner of an invitation to the play-offs for the qualifying.
“It’s not going to be easy, we went to Cape Coast there. Psychologically, the guys should be ready,” he said at a post-match press conference, according to iDiski Times.
“It’s not going to be easy. I hope you find a training pitch there. There’s nothing!
It’s not going to be easy. I hope, though, you find a better place to train, but yoh, it’s terrible.”
South Africa beat Zimbabwe on Thursday to move three points ahead on top, however, a victory for Ghana will mean Ghana’s Black Stars are through to the play-offs.
