Speaking on how they came about the name, Jeff said they had been joking about how they felt like they were young once again.

“We would joke about how we felt 18 again so that just became the album title, too.”

Aside from the covers, there are two originals on the album added by Depp himself including, “This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr” and their first single.

Like any great album, the ’18’ has a suitable album cover designed by Beck’s wife; a sketch of two young men dressed in white T-shirts.
