Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Camille Vasquez has denied rumors of a romantic relationship between herself and her client, Johnny Depp. Says it’s unfortunate and disappointing.
Camille Vasquez has been shot into fame as fans of Johnny continue to cheer her for her exceptional role in the victory of her client in his defamation suit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
Just after the verdict, some social media handles suggested the two; Depp and his lawyer were romantically involved, a statement Camille finds unfortunate.
In an interview with the People, Camille said though she is friends with the actor, their relationship remains professional and nothing inappropriate.
“I guess it comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job,” she said. “It’s disappointing that certain outlets kind of ran with it or said that my interactions with Johnny—who is a friend and I’ve known and represented for four-and-a-half years now—that my interactions in any way were inappropriate or unprofessional”.
She added that the case had Johnny Depp in a place where he needed all the support he could get while fighting to get his life back from the several accusations that were pinned on him.
“This man was fighting for his life and it broke my heart to see him day in and day out have to sit there and listen to the most horrific allegations being made against him. And if I could provide any bit of comfort, then, of course, I would do that, whether it’s holding his hand or letting him know that we were there and we were going to fight for him because he deserved it.”
