Ghanaian forward Joseph Painstil scored KRC Genk’s only goal in their friendly defeat to Belgium First Division B side RWD Molenbeek.
The Belgium giants were down to two quick early goals before Painstil pulled one back from a swift counter-attacker.
However, Molenbeek took advantage of a week Genk line up to add a third.
Joseph Painstil lasted the entire duration and was his side’s most liveliest player.
The former Tema Youth player has impressed since returning from his loan spell in Turkey with Ankaragucu.
He made the difference after coming on in the league opener against Standard Liege last Friday, starting the move for the equalizer.
The 23-year-old hopes to convince manager John Van Der Brom for a regular position at the club.
