Black Stars forward, Joseph Paintsil’s brilliant performance this season continued on Sunday night when he struck in KRC Genk’s annihilation of Seraing.
The Ghana forward who started the game played 70 minutes of the contest.
He found the back of the net against Seraing in the 64th minute after having been torn in the flesh of the Seraing defense all throughout the time he spent on the pitch.
Paul Onuach scored a brace with Mike Tressor adding a third to put KRC Genk in a good lead before Paintsil’s goal.
Seraing put in all the efforts they could muster to equalize but their efforts could not bear any fruits and had to return home with a 4-0 defeat after the game came to an end.
Joseph Paintsil has eight goals and 10 assists in 18 appearances thus far this season in the Belgian Pro League.
The young winger was the subject of speculation when he was left out of Ghana’s 2022 Qatar World Cup squad, especially when many fans could not come to terms with the reason given by Otto Addo for his exclusion.
