Judith Durham Husband: Who Is Ronald Edgeworth?

On November 21, 1969, Judith Durham married her husband who was her musical director, British pianist Ronald Edgeworth, at Scots’ Church in Melbourne.

Judith and Ronald lived in the UK and Switzerland until the mid-1980s when they bought a property in Nambour, Queensland.

The couple and their tour manager, Peter Summers, were involved in a car accident on the Calder Freeway in 1990.

Judith sustained a fractured wrist and leg as the driver of the other car passed away at the scene.

The response from her fans made the singer consider getting back together with the other members of the Seekers for a Silver Jubilee show.

Ronald was diagnosed with motor neurone disease during this reunion.

Ronald Edgeworth, who was born on January 29, 1938, in England, United Kingdom, passed away on December 10, 1994, with Durham by his side.
