Known primarily for her comedy act, Judy Tenuta was a woman of many parts.
She was an actress, author, musician, as well as comedian.
The self-styled “Love Goddess” was a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community going as far as stating that she was ready for same-sex marriage.
The Grammy-nominated artist worked closely with her fried Weird Al Yankovic, in whose music videos she has appeared.
Tenuta authored two books; The Power of Judyism and Full Frontal Tenudity.
Some of the movies she has featured in are; Doctor Spine, Butch Camp, Desperation Boulevard, I Am Sam Kinison, and First Period among many others.
The comedy legend sadly passed away after a battle with stage 4 ovarian cancer.
She died on Thursday 6 October 2022.

Caesar Tenuta and Joann Tenuta are the parents of Judy Tenuta.
Caesar is of Italian descent while Joann is of Polish descent.
They had nine children including Judy.
