Kevin Spacey has entered a not guilty plea to sexual assault charges that date back 17 years in London, at the Old Bailey. The actor previously vehemently rejected the charges leveled against him by three guys, who are now in their 30s and 40s.
For a plea and case management hearing before Mr. Justice Wall, he made an appearance in Court One of the Old Bailey using his full name, Kevin Spacey Fowler.
The court informed the American actor, who is free on unconditional bail and appeared in court to enter his not guilty plea, that his trial will begin on June 6, 2023, and that it will likely last three to four weeks.
He is accused of four counts of sexual assault and one count of coercing someone into having impermissible intercourse.
The alleged offenses are said to have taken place in London and Gloucestershire during Spacey’s tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic theater in London between 2005 and 2013.
