Kofi Amoah Does Not Respect – Kwasi Appiah

Ex-Ghana national team coach, Kwesi Appiah has revealed that Dr. Kofi Amoah, the one-time president of the ad-hoc Normalisation Committee (NC), showed disrespect towards him during his tenure.

Kwesi Appiah made the revelations on Joy News where he said that Dr. Amoah had requested the inclusion of Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng in the team for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Egypt.

Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari both midfielders were dismissed from the team in 2014 when they led a player revolt in the Black Stars camp at the Brazil World Cup.

Appiah found Dr. Amoah’s request for the inclusion of the two dismissed players in the 2019 AFCON squad disrespectful.

He said that by stressing the point, it meant that he was being told that he doesn’t know his job and that posture showed he had no respect.

He went on to say that the then-president of the NC went further to threaten him of dismissal if he failed to do as requested but he could not be bothered.
