Kwadwo Opoku Features As LAFC Win Big At Alajuelense

Enterprising Ghana forward Kwadwo Opoku played in Los Angeles FC’s thrashing of Costa Rican side Alajuelense in the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions League on Friday.

The Major League Soccer club was 3-o winners over the Costa Rican side through a Denis Bouanga hat trick at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto.

The young Ghanaian winger played 76 minutes of the Champions League game before he was replaced by Stipe Buik.

Los Angeles FC’s opened the scoring two minutes after the first half before adding the second twenty minutes to the end of the game, through Denis Bouanga.

He put the icing on the cake for the Major League Soccer side in the 89th minute to ensure that his side will go into the second leg of the encounter with the upper hand.

The reverse fixture will be played at Banc of California Stadium on March 20, 2023, in Los Angeles.
