A statement by the family read “Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home on her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills,”.
Lynn got married at the age of 15 and started her music career in early 1960 as a mother of four children.
The singer-songwriter is a Country Hall of Famer who has produced hits such as “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” and “You Ain’t Woman Enough,”.
