This comes after the announcement that Boris Johnson will be stepping down as prime minister caused Lorraine’s ITV daytime show to be canceled midway through Thursday’s edition.
When word arrived that they would be going to ITV News live to cover the Prime Minister’s impending resignation, the presenter was just getting started with an interview with JLS star Aston Merrygold.
