Mayor of El Khroub Hoping Ghana Advances To Semi-finals

Constantine Mehdi Amine Daas, the Mayor of El Khroub, paid a visit to the Black Galaxies at the Golden Tulip hotel in Alexandria on Wednesday, 25 January as a welcome gesture.

The Mayor had an interactive session with the management and playing body of the team where he stressed his desire to see the Black Galaxies qualify for the semi-finals of the 2022 CAF Championship of African Nations (CHAN) competition.

Mr. Mehdi Amine Daas stated that Ghana is considered the Brazilians of Africa and due to this he is hopeful that the team can progress further in the competition.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will leave Constantine on Thursday for Oran where they will continue preparations for the quarter-finals of the CHAN 2022 competition.

Ghana will clash with its Nigerian counterparts in the last eight stages of the competition.
The match will come off on Saturday, 28 January at 7 pm local time.

It is expected that the Black Galaxies will be fresh for their quarterfinal match after having not been in action for about a week.
