Celebrated Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, popularly known as Phyno Fino has revealed that most entertainment players are polygamous because they find themselves in situations where there is no other way out.
According to the hitmaker, many industry players find themselves in situations where they have no other option than to take responsibility for their actions.
“Homes breaking is not polygamy, polygamy is when someone willingly says ‘I’m going to marry two wives,’ some people are caught in a situation and you can’t call that polygamy so let’s be clear Muslims practice polygamy,” he told The Whistler.
He stressed that having another affair outside of marriage should not be termed as polygamy unless the man tries to take a second wife.
“If you are caught in a situation, you have to stand up as a man and take responsibility for your child, you can’t call that polygamy,” he added.
The Nigerian entertainment industry saw a number of celebrity marriages crashing last year. One of the controversial fallouts of last year was recorded in the house of veteran actor, Yul Edochie who welcomed a child with colleague actress, Judy Austin and ended up marrying her behind the back of his wife.
