Ghana defender and FC Metz captain John Boye is anticipating a tough game against French giants PSG in the Ligue 1 on Saturday.
Metz will host the title chasers at the Stade Saint-Symphorien in what is expected to be a make or break game for Paris Saint Germain who are just a point behind leaders Lille.
Ahead of the highly anticipated fixture, John Boye reveals FC Metz are prepared for the big spenders.
“We all know it’s going to be a tough game. PSG is a very good European team. We will have to do our best. Everyone knows what Paris is capable of. We will have to stay focused on the game and give 100%. We remember the frustration of the first leg (0-1 defeat in the last seconds of the match). It’s part of football, but I know my team is ready for this new meeting, ” said John Boye at a pre-match press conference.
“As a captain, I talk to young players a lot. We know that we will talk about us if we have a good performance. This is what I insist on with them. For that, we have to give the maximum of ourselves this Saturday.”
John Boye has made 31 Ligue 1 appearances this season and has a goal to his credit.
