Montell Jordan Parents: Elijah Jordan, Deloris Jordan

In the year 2010, former R&B singer Montell Jordan took a firm decision to quit the secular music industry due to his religious convictions.

Today he is the worship leader at Victory World Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He set up Victory World Music, a music collective at his church.

Jordan did not find it difficult going back to basics because it all started in the church for him.
Growing up, he used to play the piano at his local Baptist church.

Jordan is married to a supportive woman called Kristin Hudson, with whom he shares four children, Chris Jordan, Sydney Jordan, Skyler Jordan who plays collegiate football for Alcorn State University, and Samantha “Lady Bug” Jordan.

Jordan came to prominence with the release of his 1995 hit single “This Is How We Do It” on Def Jam records.
He was the second R&B artist to have been signed to the label.

Elijah Jordan and Deloris Jordan are the parents of Montell Jordan.
Elijah and Deloris were staunch Baptists and were both deacons in their local church.
