Indian politician and businessman, Mulayam Singh Yadav has died after a prolonged illness.
He was reported dead on Monday 10 October 2022 while on admission at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
He was 82 years old at the time of his death.
Singh Yadav was an astute Indian politician who was a three-time Chief Minister (CM) of India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh.
He was also the founder and patron of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
The former Indian minister of defense will have his funeral held at his place of birth Saifai, Etawah district.
Mulayam Singh Yadav Wife & Ex: Sadhana Gupta, Malti Devi
Sadhna Gupta was the second wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Gupta hailed from the Bidhuna district of Uttar Pradesh and was previously married to Chandra Prakash Gupta with whom she had a son named Prateek Yadav in 1987.
Gupta and Yadav met in the 1990s but married after the death of Yadav’s first wife.
Sadhna died earlier this due to a lung infection.
Malti Devi was the first wife of Singh Yadav.
Devi was born in 1943 in Saifai, Etawah District in Uttar Pradesh.
She was a homemaker and the mother of Indian politician Akhilesh Yadav.
Malti died of a heart attack in 2003.
