Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings Speaks For The First Time After Husband’s Demise

The wife of the late former president of Ghana J. J Rawlings, Nana Agyemang Rawlings has finally broken her silence after the demise of her husband.

The former president of Ghana John Jeremiah Rawlings passed on the 12th of November 2020 after a short illness. He died at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital in the early hours of Thursday, a week after having been admitted for a “short term illness”. There were reports that he suffered from COVID-19 complications. He was 73 years of age and left behind a wife and four beautiful children.

In a new update, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings expressed her gratitude to all Ghanaians for their love and support they portrayed to her family during the hard time they went through when they lost their beloved father and husband during the funeral and after the funeral. She emphasized that life has not been easy.

During a virtualconcert n memory of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings which was organized by the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings used the opportunity to show her appreciation to the President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo and his government for their role they played by giving her husband a befitting burial.

She also expressed her gratitude to the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) for also showing their support and also disclosed that her husband J. J Rawlings had the industry at heart and wanted the music industry to develop like other sectors.
