Nigeria Superstar Victor Osimhen Speaks On Christian Atsu’s Demise

Sensational Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has revealed that he was brokenhearted when he learned of the death of Ghana forward Christian Atsu.

The SSC Napoli striker said he sends his condolences to the family of all the victims of the devastating Turkey earthquake while describing the deceased Black Stars forward as an African brother.

Speaking to DHA in an interview DHA, Victor Osimhen recalled the earthquakes in Turkey.
He said he did not know how much his jersey was sold for; even his teammates like Bartosz Bereszynski and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sold their jerseys.

Osimhen went on to say reveal that Eljif Elmas organized this campaign and of course, we supported it. He sent his condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquakes.

He concluded that he also lost an African brother in these earthquakes because of Christian Atsu from Ghana.

The death of the former Ghana winger broke the hearts of many footballers and football fans across the world.

In Ghana, the former Chelsea player has been mourned for weeks. His funeral is scheduled to be held in Accra on March 17.
