Nobody At GFA Imposes Players On A Black Stars Coach – Prosper Harrison Addo

Prosper Harrison Addo, the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has stated that is it laughable for people to say Kurt Okraku who is the president of the FA picks players for the national team.

He is adamant that such allegations have no iota of truth in them.

Speaking in a panel discussion on Accra-based Citi FM on Friday, he said it is funny to say Kurt Okraku makes the selection for the Black Stars.

Harrison Addo stressed that these kinds of accusations are baseless because they are with facts. He insists that there is a process where no one person, even the head coach can name the squad.

He explained that the head coach discusses it with his team before the present it to the management committee, and if it is good the list is announced subsequently.

The FA scribe was emphatic that nobody imposes a player on a coach.
