Kochillathu Zacharias Mar Polycarpos was born Scaria Kochillom on 23 July 1970. He was the Metropolitan of Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church.
He was consecrated on 2 January 2012 by Baselios Thomas I.
Mar Polycarpos served on the advisory boards of various educational institutions including St Mary’s College Meenangadi, St Peter’s and St Paul’s English Medium School, and Aramaia International Residential School.
He was serving under the See of Holy Apostolic See of Antioch & All East and the Malabar Diocese before his untimely demise.
Kochillathu was an Indian national. He died on 21 June 2022 from a heart attack.
