Randall Claude Weaver (Randy Weaver) was a separatist and white supremacist known for his role in the Ruby Ridge standoff in Idaho in 1992.
Born on 3 January 1948, Weaver and family together with his friend Kevin Harris engaged in a shootout with FBI agents and U.S. Marshals. Samuel, Weaver’s son who then 14 years old, was killed when he was shot in the back by a sniper.
Randy himself was shot in the back during the standoff. His wife, Vicki, was killed by the same bullet that wounded Kevin Harris. She died with the couple’s baby daughter in her arms.
Randy Weaver joined the United States Army in October 1968.
