Born in 1951, Ray Coyle was the founder of Tayto Park, an amusement park in Ireland, originally themed based on the Irish potato crisp brand Tayto.
He began working as a potato farmer and is famous for his creation of Largo Foods in 1982.
The company expanded to include a variety of top crisp brands, including Tayto, Hunky Dory, Perri and King.
Coyle later inaugurated the Tayto Park themed park as well as the Zoo within Ashbourne, Co Meath.
It was opened in 2010, and has seen more than five million visitors since its establishment.
